Hansi Flick's favorite spot in Catalonia: a beautiful coastal town "ideal for relaxing"

The German has been the Barça boss for just over a year, but he's already had time to explore some of the most exciting corners of the Catalan coast, such as two fascinating towns that have captivated the coach. These are the towns of Llafranc and Callella de Palafrugell, two of the most beautiful places to visit in northeastern Spain, where Hansi Flick spent some wonderful days on the shores of the Mediterranean last summer.

Llafranc, a well-kept secret on the Costa Brava

The village of Llafranc, which also belongs to the municipality of Palafrugell, is one of the most stunning places on the entire Costa Brava. With a population of around 300, this idyllic town preserves an incredible seafaring spirit that, combined with modernity, makes it an excellent destination for relaxation. Hansi Flick was able to enjoy a wonderful place where you can also visit historical remains, such as the beautiful Church of Santa Rosa de Lima or all the treasures of the Monumental Complex of San Sebastián de La Guarda, a cape where it is possible to approach a fantastic lighthouse and a watchtower, as well as a beautiful hermitage and even an ancient Iberian village with thousands of years of history.

Calella de Palafrugell, a true coastal gem

Another of the small towns on the Costa Brava that Hansi Flick visited last summer was Calella de Palafrugell, one of the most beautiful in all of Spain, where the essence of the sea permeates every corner. Its narrow streets and colorful houses blend with a beautiful golden cove and the color of the sea to create a fairytale-like scene that amazes all those lucky enough to see it during the summer.
